It’s hard to promote LGBTQ+ books because everyone wants to put us in one category. This is disadvantageous to authors, especially authors in genres and niches with smaller readers, who find it hard to stand out in broad “LGBTQ+” categories available through many promotional outlets.
Pride & Pages helps authors and readers find each other by sending newsletters tailored to specific genres and categories of books. Our lists are hyper-targeted, so you are only promoting to readers looking for books exactly like yours.

Pride & Pages Book Club promotes books in a variety of categories, including: Deals, New Releases, Preorders, Friday Freebies, Queer KU Reads, and Monthly Specials. Please become a member for free to access the full list of available promotions.
Pride & Pages Book Club is committed to providing a premium experience to readers, and books must adhere to strict guidelines to be eligible for promotion.
Content Guidelines include:
Content must be appropriate for our diverse audience and should not contain offensive, defamatory, or misleading material. Books that are in the "Amazon dungeon" are prohibited.
No written or illustrated content that was created with the use or assistance of generative AI is permitted for promotion.
No "low-content" books (journals, planners, coloring books, etc.) will be accepted for promotion.
All fiction books must contain at least one LGBTQ+ main character. All nonfiction books must be related to LGBTQ+ people or topics.
Books promoted in the "Deals," "Friday Freebies," and "Queer KU Reads" categories must have a minimum of twenty star ratings and an average rating of 3 stars or higher.

We require author to become members in order to sign up for promotions because it allows us to restrict our promotional opportunities to eligible authors in good standing with Pride & Pages Book Club. Membership is completely free for authors and publishers of LGBTQ+ books.

Absolutely! We love indie authors, and know firsthand how hard it is to find promotional opportunities for LGBTQIA+ indie books, especially debut releases. That was part of our inspiration for starting the Pride & Pages Book Club!

With a TikTok ban looming and Meta content moderation guidelines changing, promoting LGBTQ+ books on social media is likely going to get a lot more difficult in the coming years.
